What is it?

RUN THE WORLD is an initiative for primary schools in Brighton and Hove to get children running. The project aims to get thousands of children aged 7 to 11 covering a 1km distance and together amass a total distance equivalent of running from Brighton to Africa.

When is it?

RUN THE WORLD takes place on Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th and Friday 14th October 2011. On each day a number of runs will be held at different venues across Brighton and Hove.

Where will it take place?

RUN THE WORLD Day 1 takes place at Preston Park; Day 2 in Hove Park; and Day 3 in East Brighton Park

Registration

All children participating in RUN THE WORLD must register through their schools. The event is open to all primary schoolchildren at state schools in Brighton and Hove.
